How Can mild Sinus Infection Be Treated?

I seem to have a mild sinus infection. (sore teeth and upper jaw, and a cough). Now I wouldn t go to the doctor with that, because it just started Thursday. But I am leaving for a trip to Europe on Tuesday. Which of course includes flying. Should I see a doctor, or can it wait till I m back a week and a half later?

Hello,

You can do steam inhalation for open up clogged sinuses and for symptomatic relief.

If the symptoms are severe, you can start a short course of antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
